Enable Fair Market Value

Fair Market Value is not automatically enabled and must be toggled ON via the Finance Setup menu. 

Steps

1. Navigate to Menu > Setup > Finance.
2. The Configuration section includes the Fair Market Value option. 
3. Once Fair Market Value pricing is enabled, override options are displayed. 

Note: When disabled, the FMV price cannot be overridden. 

• Plans - when enabled, this allows for the override of the FMV price(s) at the plan level when adding charges.
• Subscription Charges - when enabled, this allows for the override of the FMV price(s) when adding or changing charge(s) on a subscription level.

Notes:

This functionality allows flexibility to accommodate dynamic fair value allocation scenarios down to the individual contract level if applicable for your organization. 

Once enabled, only new Subscriptions are affected. Existing subscriptions maintain their old configuration and cannot be FMV enabled. 

4. Enable the desired FMV toggles and click Save.
