FAQsWhat is the primary benefit of testing a release in a Sandbox environment? Customers can safely test use cases and gain familiarity with new features without affecting a live Production environment.
Will all features and enhancements of each new release be available in my Sandbox environment? YES-each release will be fully functional in your Sandbox environment. Ordway encourages testing your use cases with new features prior to implementing them in a Production environment. How long will I be able to test the release in the Sandbox? Releases are available for one week in the Sandbox environment. Please complete all testing in the provided time frame.
Will the Production environment release match the Sandbox? YES-the release to your Production environment will be an exact match to your Sandbox environment.
We do not use currently use a Sandbox. Will anything change for us? Every customer is granted one sandbox. The choice to utilize it is up to you. You can continue to work in Production if desired.
How do I get Sandbox access? Create a Service Desk Ticket to establish access if you do not currently utilize a Sandbox.
Is there an option to opt out of this change? We do not plan to allow customers to opt out of Sandbox releases in conformance to principles of SaaS applications. |
