The Renewals Report provides an overview of contract renewals over time, offering key insights into how well customers are being retained. For each month in the time period selected, the report reflects the Total Contract Value (TCV) for all contracts up for renewal within the given month, the total TCV for all contracts that have successfully renewed, the total TCV for all contracts that have expired, and the Renewal Rate.
Report Columns Defined:
- Date: First day of the given month.
- Renewed TCV: Total Contract Value (TCV) for all contracts that have renewed within the given month.
- Expired TCV: Total Contract Value (TCV) for all contracts that have expired within the given month.
- Total Original TCV: Total Contract Value (TCV) for all contracts up for renewal within the given month.
- Renewal Rate: The percent of TCV that has been retained within the given month. This is calculated as (Renewed TCV / Expired TCV), and may be greater than 100% if contracts have been renewed with a higher TCV.
Note: By default the TCV indicated in the above definitions includes all charge types, regardless of whether they are recurring or non-recurring charges.
Report Features:
- By default the report excludes Evergreen contracts with no defined contract end date. However, the Include Evergreen Contracts toggle allows you to override this setting and include TCV from these contracts in the report.
- Embedded links allow for seamless navigation to Customer Accounts and Subscriptions.
- Filter the report by Customer, Product and Plan to find relevant information quickly.
- Additional Filters allow for further refined insights from the report, including filtering by custom fields.
Run Renewals Report
Navigate to Menu > Reports > Renewals Report.
View Renewals Report - Details
To view details by Date, simply click the desired date on the left hand side to view the Renewals Report - Details.
