Overview
Ordway provides the ability to view Audit Logs for select items across the platform. Audit Logs track system activities such as user sign-ins, record creation, updates, deletions, invoice generation, and other system actions.
Audit Logs help administrators monitor system activity and understand who performed an action, when it occurred, and how the change was made.
Notes
Audit Logs display timestamps in the UTC time zone.

Log retention is:
90 days for Production environments
30 days for Sandbox environments
Methods to View Audit Logs
There are two ways to access Audit Logs in Ordway.
Method 1: View All Audit Logs
You can view all logs across the UI. The Source column identifies where changes originated from. Examples include UI, Salesforce (SF), or the system.
Steps
In the left navigation menu → Operations → Logs → Audit Logs. This page displays all audit events recorded across the platform.
You can review activity such as record creation, updates, and other system actions.
Method 2: View Audit Logs from a Specific Module
Audit Logs can also be accessed directly from specific modules.

Steps
Navigate to the desired module. Example: Credits
Locate the record.
Click the Actions menu (⋮) next to the record.
Select Logs → Audit Logs.
This displays the audit history for the selected record.
Audit Logs Page
The Audit Logs page displays a list of recorded system events.
Each log entry includes the following information:
| Field | Description |
| Date | Date and time when the event occurred |
| User | User who performed the action |
| Event | The action performed on the record |
| Source | Indicates where the change originated |
Examples of Source values include:
UI – Action performed directly within Ordway
API – Change made through an API request
Salesforce (SF) – Change initiated through Salesforce integration
System – Automatically generated system action
Sort Audit Logs
Click the Date column header to sort available Audit Logs by date.
This helps to quickly locate the most recent or older events.
Filter Audit Logs
Use filters to locate a specific Audit Log.
Steps:
Click Filters.
Select the desired filter criteria.
Click Apply Filter.
Common filters include:
Object
Record ID
User
Event Type
Date Range
Log Actions
The available hyperlinks for each Audit Log may vary depending on the module being viewed.
View Log
To view details for a specific log entry:
Locate the log.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the log.
Select View.
The Event Details are displayed.
Event Details
The Event Details window provides detailed information about the selected audit event. It includes a summary of the event and the specific record data captured during the action.
Event Summary
The Summary section displays key details about the audit event.
| Field | Description |
| ID | The record ID associated with the event |
| User | The user who executed the action |
| Source | Indicates whether the action was performed through UI or API |
| IP Address | The IP address used to execute the action |
| Date | The date and time when the action occurred |
Example: Create Credit – CR-00087
This indicates that the credit record CR-00087 was created by the user through the specified source.
Credit Parameters
The Credit Parameters tab displays the complete set of parameters captured for the record at the time the event occurred.
The information is displayed in JSON format and may include:
Credit ID
External ID
Customer ID
Billing contact details
Credit amount
Associated metadata
This section allows users to review the complete object data stored during the event.
Changed Parameters
The Changed Parameters tab displays the specific fields that were modified during the event.
For each field, the system displays:

| Field Name | The field that was updated |
| Previous Value | The value before the change |
| New Value | The updated value |
The system may also display changes related to associated records. This provides field-level visibility into what information changed during the event.
