Ordway offers the ability to view Audit Logs for select items throughout the platform. View activity recorded within Ordway such as user sign in, deleting customers, generating invoice etc. Audit Logs are maintained for the lifetime of the transaction.
Note: Audit Logs display in UTC Time Zone.
There are two methods to view Audit Logs:
- Menu > Operations > Logs > Audit Logs.
- Menu > Specific Ordway Module (Customers, Subscriptions, Invoices) > Actions Menu > Audit Log.
View all Audit Logs
Navigate to Menu > Operations > Logs > Audit Logs to view all logs across the UI.
The Source column identifies where changes originated from. Examples include UI, Salesforce (SF), or the system.
View Audit Logs by Module
Access Audit Logs by module from the Actions Column on any Ordway screen.
Example: Navigate to Menu > Customer Accounts to view Audit Logs for Customers.
Using the Customers Page as an example, the Audit Log for each customer is available under the Gear icon for that customer.
Log Actions
View Log
To view a specific log, click the appropriate hyperlink within a line item or click View from the Actions menu. Hyperlinks for each Audit Log will vary based on the module you are viewing.
Sort by Date
Click the Date column header to sort available Audit Logs by Date.
Filter Audit Logs
Use the available Filter options to locate a specific Audit Log. Learn more about Filtering Data in Ordway.
Example: Search for Logs related to Payment Methods.
Click Filter, select Object, Is, Payment Method, Apply Filter to view all logs related to Payment Method activities. Click View from the gear icon to view specific log details.
Log Details
The top portion of each log contains the following Summary information:

User |
The user who executed the action. |
Event |
The edit or change that was made by the user. Options for the Audit Log will vary based on the type list in which a user is viewing. |
Source |
Indicates whether the change was made through the Ordway directly or via API. |
IP Address |
The IP Address used to execute the change. |
Date |
The date and time of the change. |
Additional parameters are displayed below the Summary information. This information will vary based on the action executed.
