Is the sync to QuickBooks Online done on a summary JE basis only to the GL, or can we choose to do a full transaction-level sync?

You can push individual transactions to QBO or do a monthly summary JE export.  You can also toggle off/on certain transaction types (i.e. invoices, payments, credits) if you don't want that data to sync automatically.
