View Quote Line Items in Salesforce Opportunities

Overview

To display Quote Line Items in a Salesforce Opportunity, update the associated Ordway Quote status to Completed or Converted. If the Quote is not marked as Primary, Salesforce automatically marks it as Primary when you change its status to either of these values.

Prerequisites

Create a new Ordway Quote or open an existing Quote associated with the Salesforce Opportunity.

Add Plans to a Quote

1. Open the Quote you want to associate with the Opportunity.

2. Optional: Select Primary in the Quote Information section.
   

   If the Quote is not marked as Primary, Salesforce automatically marks it as Primary when you change its status to Completed or Converted.

3. Click Add Plans.
4. Select the checkbox for each Plan you want to add to the Quote.
   
5. Click Save & Close. After saving, the Quote may not display the associated Product Line Items yet.
   

Update the Quote Status

1. On the Quote record, locate the Status field.
2. Click the edit icon next to Status.
3. Change the status to Completed or Converted.
4. Save the changes.
   

Verify Quote Line Items in the Opportunity

Open the associated Salesforce Opportunity and review the Products section. The Opportunity should now display the associated Product Line Items.
