Resolve Salesforce Quote Conversion Mapping Issues

In Ordway, quote conversion happens directly from a Quote to a Subscription. In Salesforce, the conversion process involves an additional step: data flows from the Quote to the Opportunity and then from the Opportunity to the Contract.

If the required field mapping between the Quote and Opportunity is missing, quote conversion may not carry the expected data through the Salesforce workflow.

Why Does This Issue Occur?

The Quote-to-Opportunity mapping is missing. Although the field may be configured on the Quote, the corresponding custom field must also exist at the Opportunity level, with the appropriate object field mapping.

How to Resolve the Issue

1. In Salesforce, create the same custom field on the Opportunity object that exists on the Quote.
2. In Ordway, open the Salesforce integration settings and access the object field mappings.
3. Configure the mapping between the Quote and Opportunity fields.
4. Verify that the mapping is correct for the affected field.

Expected Result

The Quote-to-Opportunity field mapping is configured, allowing the relevant data to flow through the Salesforce conversion process from Quote to Opportunity and then to Contract.
