Report Description
The Bookings Report displays the Total Contract Value (TCV) of subscriptions booked during a selected reporting period. TCV represents the total value of all future payments associated with a subscription, based on its subscription and billing schedule. Each booking is grouped by the Contract Effective Date, enabling you to analyze booking trends across customers, subscriptions, and reporting periods.
Purpose
Use the Bookings Report to:
- Track Total Contract Value (TCV) booked over time.
- Analyze new bookings and subscription changes by reporting period.
- View booking trends by customer, subscription, or business entity.
- Support sales performance and business growth analysis.

Prerequisites
Before running this report:
- Customers must exist.
- At least one subscription must be created.
- Subscription pricing and billing schedules must be configured.
- Contract Effective Date must be available.
- Reporting Currency must be configured if currency conversion is required.
Predefined Filters
The following filters are applied by default when you open the Bookings Report. You can modify these filters to refine the report results.

| Reporting Currency (Required) | Selected reporting currency (for example, USD) | Displays booking values in the selected reporting currency. |
Notes
- Booking Date and Reporting Currency are required filters.
- By default, the report excludes subscriptions in the Draft status.
- Customer Name and Subscription ID are optional filters that allow you to narrow the report to specific records.
Calculation Summary
The Bookings Report calculates the Total Contract Value (TCV) for subscriptions.
- TCV represents the total contractual value of all future payments associated with a subscription.
- The entire TCV is recognized in the booking month based on the Contract Effective Date.
- If a subscription is modified and the TCV changes, only the difference is recorded in the month of the Change Effective Date.
Example
A subscription starts in March and runs for 12 months at $100 per month.
- Total Contract Value = $1,200
- The report displays $1,200 in March.
- The value is not distributed across the 12 months.
Report Fields

| Customer ID | Unique identifier of the customer associated with the booking. |
| Customer Name | Name of the customer associated with the booked subscription. |
| Subscription ID | Unique identifier of the subscription. |
| Booking Month | The reporting month in which the booking is recognized, based on the Contract Effective Date or Change Effective Date for subscription amendments. |
| Monthly Total Booking Amount | Total Contract Value (TCV) booked for each reporting month. A separate column is displayed for each month within the selected reporting period. |
| Total Booking Amount | Sum of the Total Contract Value (TCV) booked across all displayed reporting months for the customer or subscription. |
Notes
- The report displays one Total Booking Amount column for each month included in the selected reporting period (for example, 2026-01, 2026-02, 2026-03, and so on).
- The Total column shows the cumulative booking amount across all displayed months.
- Rows can be expanded to view booking details by Customer and Subscription.
