Report Description & Purpose
The Account Balance (Cumulative) Report summarizes the net change to GL Account balances as of the end of a given month and includes all transactions up to the current period. This report is derived from journal entries and is generally used by accountants to review the balance in each account and reconcile transaction activity.
This report is sorted by Account Name as recorded in your Chart of Accounts and reflects amounts by Journal Entry Date.
To view this same data by Month, run the Account Balance (In Period) Report.

Predefined Filters
The following filters are automatically applied to the Account Balance (Cumulative) Report. Click the Filters arrow to expand the section and adjust the criteria as needed.
