Receive credit card payments in Ordway via Stripe

Before you can accept credit card payments via Stripe, you must have an active service account. The setup process generally takes less than two hours. Once an account is created, Stripe will quote your rates per transaction etc.

Best Practice: Set the Ordway base Currency to match the currency selected in Payment Gateway(s). 

Note: The following screenshots do not belong to Ordway and are subject to change at anytime by Stripe. These should be referenced as examples only. 

Visit Stripe and browse their Products tab to select a service.

Once you select a service, click the corresponding Start now button to create an account. 

Once a user name and password are entered, Stripe routes a verification email to the email address provided. You are automatically routed to the Stripe Dashboard. 

Check your email and click the verify email address button.  

Linking the Stripe Gateway within Ordway is self service, and is explained in the Manage Payment Gateways article. 

Note: New accounts with Stripe are limited to a $6,000 maximum ACH draft. Reach out to your Stripe representative to increase this limit.
