Ordway now supports sending enriched Level 2 and Level 3 (L2/L3) transaction data to Braintree during credit card payment processing. This enhancement allows businesses to pass detailed invoice and line-item information, improving transaction accuracy, reporting, and potential interchange savings.

About Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Data

Level 1 Data (Standard / Mandatory)

Includes the basic payment information required to process a card transaction:

• Credit Card Number

• CVV

• Expiration Date

• Transaction Amount

• Merchant Details

Level 2 Data (Enhanced Transaction Details)

Includes additional invoice-level information such as:

• Customer reference number

• Invoice number

• Sales tax amount

• Merchant tax ID

Level 3 Data (Line-Item Level Detail)

Provides granular, per-item transaction data, such as:
