Google Pay

Live in Sandbox 04/24/2025 and Production 5/10/2025.

We are excited to announce the introduction of Google Pay as part of our improved user experience with Stripe’s Payment Elements. 

To enable Google Pay for your end users, simply enable the Google Pay option from your Stripe Dashboard.

Ordway customer’s end users must sign up for Google Wallet and also follow instructions to add the desired Payment method. A valid payment method must be present in the user’s wallet in order for Google Pay to show as an option. 

Note: At this point Google Pay ONLY supports Credit Cards and Debit Cards. US Bank Accounts are currently not supported.

PLEASE NOTE

Google Pay takes around 25- 30 mins for the payment method to show up on your screen from the time you add the Credit Card/Debit Card to your Wallet.

Once the wallet has a card, the following pages are updated:

Customer Details Page 

Customer Details page will now show an additional payment method option for Google Pay.

PayNow Portal

1. Users can now choose Google Pay Payment option while making payments on PayNow Portal.

2. Choose Google Pay and click Add Payment Method. The user is directed to an external page rendered by Google pay.
3. Choose your card and Click continue. 

4. The user is returned to the Ordway Submit Payment page.
5. Review your payment and click Submit Payment.
   
6. A Confirmation page is provided.
