Overview
Ordway supports invoicing multiple subscriptions for the same customer on a single consolidated invoice. This allows for simplified billing and a more streamlined experience for customers receiving invoices.
When Does Ordway Generate Separate vs. Combined Invoices?
By default, each subscription may be configured to either:
Generate its own invoice, or
Be included with other subscriptions on a single invoice
This behavior is controlled at the subscription level.
How to Combine Subscriptions onto One Invoice
To ensure that multiple subscriptions for the same customer are grouped together into a single invoice, you must disable the “Generate Separate Invoice” option within each subscription.
Steps:
Navigate to Subscriptions in Ordway.
Select the subscription you want to update.
Locate the setting Generate Separate Invoice.
Toggle this option OFF.
Repeat for any other subscriptions belonging to the same customer.
Once this setting is disabled across all applicable subscriptions:
Ordway will automatically combine their billing into one invoice, provided invoice dates and billing frequencies align.
