Generate Refund Email
Desired Outcome: Notify someone in my company anytime a refund is generated or updated.
Steps:
- Navigate to Menu > Platform > Workflow Automation.
- Click Add.
3. Select Record - Triggered Flow. This trigger retrieves generated refunds.
4. Enter the Flow Label Name. Corresponding API names are auto populated.
5. Enter an optional Description.
6. Click Next.
7. Populate the Record - Triggered Flow. Select Refund as the Object and select the timing options.
In this case, we want to generate an email anytime a Refund is created or updated.
8. Click Done after populating the component details.
9. Drag and drop a Send an Email communication onto the canvas under the Record -Triggered Flow icon.
10. Populate the email address.
Note: Be sure to use single quotes for the email address. To add additional email addresses, separate each one with a comma or semi colon.
Example:
Recipients: 'Email@gmail.com' or when sending to more than one recipient ‘Email1@gmail.com, Email2@gmail.com'
11. Populate the Subject and email Body. Use the Insert Parameter option to customize the email with details regarding the specific refund being communicated.
12. Click Done when finished.
13. Create a path from the Record - Triggered Flow by pulling the open circle down to the top of the Email.
14. Save the Workflow.
15. Click Enable to start the Workflow.
