How does Stripe handle transaction fees?

Ordway facilitates sending transaction data to Stripe and they process the payment on their end.

Transaction fees are based on the API response from Stripe which is booked to the GL Account established in Finance Settings.  This is most commonly an expense account designated for payment processing fees.

Stripe transaction fees are always charged to the payment recipient.
