Report Description & Purpose
The Failed Payments Report provides a summary of recently failed payments by customer allowing users to easily identify and resolve payment processing issues.
The report displays the date of the first failed payment in the series, the most recent failed payment date, and the number of failed payments during this timeframe. Once a payment is successfully processed for a customer, they no longer appear on this report.

Predefined Filters
The following filters are automatically applied to the Failed Payments Report. Click the Filters arrow to expand the section and adjust the criteria as needed.

Report Columns Defined
- Account Balance - Account Balance outstanding for this customer as of today, as shown on the Customer Account.
- MRR - Contracted MRR for all active contracts for this customer as of today, as shown on the Customer Account.
- Billing Cycle Day - Default billing day for this customer, as shown on the Customer Account.
- First Failed Payment - The date of the first failed payment in this series, after which the customer has no payments that processed successfully.
- Most Recent Failed Payment - The date of the most recent failed payment in this series.
- Failed Payment Count - The total number of failed payments for this customer between the First and Most Recent failed payment dates listed.
When to Schedule this Report
The timing of when to run this report will vary based on the collections policies of your organization. One common example is to run this report as part of a month end process to isolate failed payments and to identify the most important customers to follow up on for payment.
