Custom billing batches allow Customer segmentation into various groups or batches that can be used to differentiate batches in Billing Runs and Payment Runs.
Example: Customers require Invoices to be uploaded to a Vendor Portal website, adding these Customers into a separate Billing Batch allows you to set up a separate Billing Run that will not auto-email Invoices to the Customer’s billing contact.
Add Billing Batch
Steps:
1. Navigate to Menu > Setup > Billing > Billing Batches.
2. Click Add.
- Name the Billing Batch.
- Select the Invoice Template from the available drop-down menu. If the desired template is not available, review available templates via Menu > Setup > Manage Templates.
3. Save when finished.
Set Default Template for Billing Batch
Steps:
- Navigate to Menu > Setup > Billing > Billing Batches.
- Click Edit from the Actions menu.
- Select the desired default Invoice Template from the drop-down menu.
- Save when finished.
- Confirm the Template is correct by generating a new Invoice PDF or regenerating an existing Invoice PDF for a Customer Account using the default Invoice Template.
