Overview

The Analytics platform helps you create, customize, and analyze reports to gain insights into your business data. It includes preconfigured Standard Reports and powerful tools for building custom reports using the Simple or Advanced Report Builder.

Access the Analytics Platform

To access the Analytics platform:

From the side navigation menu, click Analytics.
Select Reports.

The Reports page opens in the New Experience.

Reports Landing Page

The redesigned Reports page provides a centralized location for accessing both Standard Reports and Custom Reports.

Key features include:

View Standard Reports and Custom Reports from a single location.
Search, filter, and sort saved reports.
Create custom reports using the Simple Report Builder or Advanced Report Builder.
Access preconfigured report types based on common business data relationships.
Customize cloned Standard Reports by adding or removing fields.

Standard Report Enhancements

Standard Reports include the following enhancements:

Expand or collapse row groups.
Drill down into report data to view underlying records.
Clone reports and customize them to meet your reporting requirements.

Simple vs. Advanced Report Builder

Ordway provides two report builder modes to support different reporting requirements.

Simple Report Builder

Use the Simple Report Builder to quickly create reports and export data.

This mode is best suited for basic reporting scenarios where you need to:

Select a report type.
Choose the fields to include.
Export report data.

The Simple Report Builder doesn't support:

Row grouping
Advanced filtering
Aggregations
Data visualizations

Advanced Report Builder

Use the Advanced Report Builder to create highly customized reports.

This mode supports advanced reporting capabilities, including:

Multiple filters
Aggregations
Row grouping
Data visualizations
Advanced report customization
