Classic Reports

Standard and Custom Reports

All standard and Custom reports will support the ability to modify filters before execution of a report. Clicking on the report will take the user to the filter details, where the filters can be modified. Then click Run to execute the report. This enhancement ensures that users are not forced to execute the default report before the filter can be edited.

In Custom Reports, clicking the name of the report will take the user to the Report Details Page with the text “Data retrieval is paused” displayed. Change the necessary elements such as Data, Filters, etc. and click Resume to continue execution of the report.

Deferred Revenue Waterfall Report

This report has been updated to v3 with the following updates: 

• "Recognized in Future Periods" column has been removed.
• A New column called "Pending Charges" has been added. Pending Charges are those for which a billing schedule has been created but revenue schedule hasn’t been created. This may happen with recognition driven from a ‘completion date’ for one-time charges that hasn’t yet been supplied, or entire contracts being deferred with a start date not supplied.
• Contract/Order Rate is the rate used in the future amounts conversion. 
• Future posted/invoiced amounts are now coming from the Journal Entries directly instead of the Revenue Schedules/Billing Schedules which ensures a consistent variance (if any) regardless of the report period.

New Analytics Platform

Reporting Currency Filter Update

As communicated via the Help Center and in-app notifications on 2024.02.26, action is needed to properly display a selected Reporting Currency in Custom Reports. Read more here and follow the instructions. 

Finance

Usage Enhancements

Ordway’s ability to recognize revenue from usage periods across multiple periods has been enhanced. For example, if the billing period is Feb 15th to March 14th, Ordway will now correctly recognize revenue for the financial periods Feb and March based on usage dates.

Commerce

New Payment Gateway (available mid March 2024)

PAYARC is being added as a new Payment Gateway in Ordway to handle Credit Card and ACH payments in USD transactions. 

Notes: 

• PAYARC payments are not instantaneous, as the gateway is updated only once daily. 
• Customer portal support for PAYARC will be available in future releases.

Pay Now Link Expiry

To be introduced by March 15th: Current external links expire after 30 days without the ability to regenerate them. A new enhancement is being released in March allowing the user to regenerate the link and route it to the intended user (recipient) of the original email. When not an email generated link, an email is sent to the customer's billing contact email.

Pay Now link expiry time will be 30 days for security measures.

A View More button has been added to easily view all Mappings on a single page for both HubSpot and Salesforce integrations.

Salesforce

SFDC New Package: 4.3.5 updates include: 

• Support Partial Period Proration on Plan Picker
  • Example: When an annual charge is charged for only a specific number of days, we also support the accurate price calculation on the Plan Picker.
• Support for Ramped up Pricing Now
  • Example: When a customer has a charge they’d like to charge separate prices on two different periods: Add two lines in the Plan Picker with the same charge and have the Charge Start Date and End Date defined for both of them with separate prices. 
• Support for Upfront Pricing Now
  • Example: When the Billing Period is selected as Upfront, the price is considered like a one time charge, but this line item is not removed on Renewal similar to one time.
