New Analytics Platform

New Standard Report: Customer Counts

This new report shows the customer counts growth metric based on the MRR movements: starting customers, new customers, expansion customers, contraction customers, churn customers, ending customers for the given period.

Bill to Parent Field

Bill to Parent field is exposed in the Subscription object within Classic custom reports and New Analytics reports.

ARR Movements Waterfall

• Ability to view ARR Movements within a period using a waterfall visualization. 
• Users can filter this view by various fields to view these movements for specific segments.
• Users can drill down into any of these ARR Movements components to identify the Customers and Subscriptions that contribute to these movements.

ARR Movements Stacked Bar

• Ability to view ARR Movements across periods using a Bar visualization, with movement types stacked within each period.
• Users can filter this view by various fields to view these movements for specific segments.
• Users can drill down into any of the periods and Movement Types to see what is driving the increase or decrease.

Finance

Start and End Date Flexibility

• Adding additional configurable default settings around Revenue Start and Dates, such that every contract doesn’t have to be modified.
• Two additional options, Term Start Date and Contract Effective Date are added to the ‘Recognition Start Date’ field within Subscriptions, Product, and Plan lines.
• A new field called Recognition End Date is also added with two values; Charge End Date and Term End Date.

Bill to Parent at the Subscription level

Today we have the Bill to Parent flag at the Customer level. So, all the Subscriptions of a customer are either billed to the parent customer or the child customer itself.

With this release, this functionality is now brought down to the Subscription level. This provides flexibility for users to override the Bill to Parent flag value at the Subscription level, which in turn allows for some Subscriptions to be billed to the child customer while other Subscriptions to be billed to the Parent Customer.

Notes:

• A general subscription setting named Default to Separate Invoicing must be enabled for this functionality to work. Please note that this dependency will be removed post October release.
• Bill to Parent field within the subscription has ‘True’ and ‘False’ values within the drop-down. These will be replaced by ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ values respectively, post October release.

All Logs Available for a Given Object

Previously, only audit logs were shown within each of the Object pages. With the September release last month, additional logs were made available, still defaulting to Audit Logs. The following additional Logs now have links: 

• Audit Logs
• API Logs
• Avalara Logs (if applicable)
• Webhook Logs

Single Sign On for Ordway

We are pleased to announce the release of Single Sign On (SSO) for the Ordway Platform. This feature enables you to secure your web applications by providing Web SSO capabilities based on popular standards - SAML 2.0. 

The Ordway platform acts as an SAML-based Service Provider (SP), allowing your enterprise user directory or third-party IdP to secure your applications via standards-based security tokens. 

Refer to our SSO User Guide to go through the steps in enabling and configuring SSO for your organization.
