Finance

Pass Through Payment Processing Fees

Ordway Customers can now pass Payment Gateway processing fees to their end user when paying by Credit Card or ACH bank debits. This feature is available for all Payment Gateways currently supported by Ordway. Read More.

Bill to Parent at Subscription

Based on the feedback from Ordway users, the Bill to Parent at Subscription enhancement released in October has undergone some changes in the interim release that happened between November and December releases.

A new flag called Allow Override of Bill to Parent at Subscription Level is introduced within the General Settings > Invoice settings section.

Commerce

Instant Stripe Payment Verification

ACH payment method verification can now be instant with Stripe Financial Connections. 

Note: Stripe is transitioning into Financial Connection. Hence verification of ACH payment method will now be via Stripe’s Financial Connection.

In the coming months we will fully transition our Stripe gateway setup to use Financial Connections instead of Plaid (deprecated by Feb 2025).

To use Financial Connections as the verification tool, enable the following toggle in the Stripe Gateway setup page:

UX Enhancement 

To improve the user experience on certain pages, we have allowed links to open in a new tab. To utilize this new option, enable Allow links to open in a new tab via Menu > Settings > General Settings.
