An Invoice Email Template is a way to standardize and customize the emails Customers receive when receiving an Invoice. Customize formatting, colors, logos, language, etc. using an HTML template. Multiple email addresses can also be added in the email address fields by separating each with a comma.

Manage Invoice Email Template
Preconditions:
- Invoice Create Template must be enabled in order to send emails.
- An Invoice has to already be created for the Invoice Email to be sent, and a user can accomplish this by clicking Generate Invoice PDF on the Invoice screen.
Steps:
- Navigate to Menu > Setup > Manage Templates.
- Click the pencil icon the Invoice Creation Email. Or click + Add Template to create a new Invoice Template.
3. Customize the Email Template:
- Use the Recipients field to change or add new recipients. By default, the template automatically defaults to the Billing Contact saved in the Customer record.
- To change the Recipient from the Customer record to the Subscription Bill To contact, replace the Recipient text with: {{invoice.bill_to_contact.email}}
- Populate the Subject field to change the Subject.
- Populate the CC and/or BCC fields to add additional email address either carbon copy or blind carbon copy.
- Edit the Reply to Address field. Learn more about customizing the Reply To field.
- Use the Attach Invoice toggle to turn ON/OFF the ability to automatically attach the Invoice PDF to the email.
- To customize the language, content, colors, logos, click Source, and edit the HTML.
- Save when finished.
