For each Charge Type (One-time, Recurring, and Usage), products can be charged Per Unit by Volume, or Tiered.
Product Pricing is determined when they are added to a Subscription.
Per Unit
Pay a set price per item regardless of the total quantity. A combination of Per Unit or Flat Fee items can be included.
Note: The Per Unit Pricing Model requires a List Price.
Example: A customer purchases 10 units, therefore per unit pricing is as follows: 10 units at $75 each.
Total Price is $750.00
Volume
Pricing is determined by the total number of items purchased. Per Unit and Flat Fee can be used for each tier created, independently of each other. Create as many tiers as needed. A cell phone plan is a good example, utilizing different volume tiers based on the number of gigabytes selected.
Example: A customer purchases 125 units, therefore volume pricing is as follows: 125 units at $4 each.
0 up to and including 100 = $5 per unit
100 up to and including 200 = $4 per unit
201+ = $3 per unit
Total Price is $500.00
Note: When a number of selected units is at the maximum number in that tier, it is included in the existing tier.
Tiered
Specify pricing tiers for a set amount of units similar to Volume Pricing. However, with tiered pricing, the cost per unit or flat fee are included from each tier until the total number of units has been met.
Example: A customer purchases 125 units, therefore tiered pricing is as follows: 100 units at $5 each and 25 units at $4 each.
0 up to and including 50 = $8 per unit
50 up to and including 100 = $6 per unit
101+ = $4 per unit
Total Price is $800.00
Note: When a number of selected units is at the maximum number in that tier, it is included in the existing tier.
