Feature Enhancements

Usage Import Redesign

• Previously, performing usage imports in Ordway could be cumbersome with large datasets. We are pleased to announce a much more efficient process. Rather than waiting on long import times while Ordway calculates all billing and revenue prior to completing the import, we’ve added a usage queue to receive the data prior to processing each record.
• The following fields must be included in the import file before successfully completing the import:

Mandatory: 

• • Date - Date of usage
  • Customer id
  • Quantity

Optional:

• • Subscription id
  • Charge id
  • Subscription line id
  • Unit of Measure
  • Description
  • Custom Fields
• Once a usage record is created in Ordway, it is placed in a Pending status; meaning it is ready for processing.
• A scheduler then periodically checks for Pending usage records and triggers a background job to begin processing each usage record and will update the status accordingly.

• If you can’t wait for the scheduler to process the usage record, manually process an individual record or batch process by selecting the Process option from the Actions icon.

• Once the usage record has been processed, it is converted to a Processed status. When a usage record fails to be processed, an email is sent to the user who initiated the import detailing which usage record(s) failed to process.

Ordway Connector App for HubSpot

• Settings for turning on bi-directional syncing for Subscriptions, Customers, and Contacts are available in HubSpot settings in Ordway. Updates to existing records and new records created in Ordway will automatically sync to HubSpot when webhooks are enabled.

• Key customer metrics, including Account Balance, Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), Last Amount Invoiced, and Upcoming Charges are displayed on the Company record.

• Key subscription metrics, including Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), Total Contract Value (TCV), and subscription Status, are displayed on the Deal record.
