Bulk‑Linking Products to Sub‑Entities (Consolidated Entity Setups) — Status, Workarounds, and Tracking

Summary

Today, linking existing products from a consolidated (parent) entity to one or more sub‑entities must be done manually via Add to Entity on each product. There is no import/bulk assignment function available in the product import at this time.

Status: A new bulk capability is in development. Internal tracking: PLAT‑20529.

Current Behavior

• Products can be associated with entities individually via the UI (Add to Entity).
• The product import does not accept a list of entity associations; attempting to include entity mappings in import files is ignored.
