Create a dunning email workflow to have automated reminder emails for late payments by adding, editing, and enabling templates for the number of days overdue. Multiple dunning emails can be enabled, each with unique wording and content as payments become overdue.

Manage Dunning Email Template
Steps:
- Navigate to Menu > Setup > Manage Templates.
- Scroll to the Dunning Emails After the Invoice is Due section.
- Click +Add to create a new Dunning Email or click the Edit icon to edit an existing template.
Populate the template:
- Days after an Invoice is due – Set the trigger for the email to be sent.
Example: When a payment is 10 days overdue, and there is a dunning email enabled for 10 days past due, an email is sent.
2. Custom filter - Unique dunning emails can be created using filters such as Customer ID, Customer Balance, Customer Billing Batch, etc., which can be used to create dunning emails that are targeted to unique Customer Account profiles. Read more about filtering the Dunning Email Template.
3. Exclude Invoices not already emailed - Decide to send the dunning email based on if the Invoice wasn’t emailed already to the Customer Account. When toggled ON, invoices not already emailed are excluded.
4. Edit recipients as needed.
5. Edit Subject as needed.
6. Add additional CC recipients as needed.
7. Add additional BCC recipients as needed.
8. Edit Reply To Address as needed. Learn more about customizing the Reply To field.
9. Attach Invoice PDF. When toggled ON, the Invoice is included with the email.
Customize the Template:
- Add HTML tags, CSS, liquid syntax to the Template section.
- To access variables available in the Ordway platform, refer to API Documentation.
- Use the Preview drop-down menu to select a Quote and choose the PDF or HTML View to preview changes before saving.
