Scheduled Report Sent as Link Instead of Attachment

Issue

Newly created report schedules may send the report as a download link instead of an email attachment.

Zendesk: 

Symptoms

Email notification displays:

"Your scheduled report is ready. You can download it from this link."

instead of attaching the report file.

Resolution

1. Create the report schedule normally.
2. Edit the existing schedule.
3. Update the Schedule Name.
4. Save the changes.

Example:

• Initial schedule name: 2025 Revenue Invoiced Report - Totals (due date)
• Updated schedule name: Revenue Invoiced Report

Result

After updating the schedule name, subsequent scheduled reports are delivered as an attachment instead of a download link.

Validation

Issue reproduced internally:

• Initial schedule creation (2025 Revenue Invoiced Report - Totals (due date)) → report delivered as a download link

• Schedule name updated (Revenue Invoiced Report) → report delivered as an attachment
