Export Historical Subscription and Subscription Plan Data

Export historical Subscription and Subscription Plan data by creating a Custom Report using the Subscription Versions dataset.

Before you begin

• Make sure you have access to Analytics > Reports and permission to create Custom Reports.
• Identify the subscription or customer data you want to export.
• Determine which subscription and subscription plan fields you need in the exported report.

Create and export the report

1. Navigate to Analytics > Reports.
2. Create a new Custom Report.
3. Select Subscription Versions as the report source.
4. Add the subscription and subscription plan fields you want to include in the report.
5. Apply filters to limit the results to the required customers, subscriptions, or date range.
6. Run the report and review the results.
7. Export the report.

Result

The exported report includes historical subscription version records, allowing you to review subscription and subscription plan changes over time.

For example, you can use the report to review historical data for customers such as Harri and Harri Technologies UK Limited.

Why use Subscription Versions?

The Subscription Versions dataset captures historical versions of subscription records. Using this dataset in a Custom Report allows you to analyze changes to subscription and subscription plan information over time rather than viewing only the current subscription state.
