A wide variety of visualizations are available within Analytics to display your data. Read more about creating Visualizations.
Customize Visualizations
Regardless of the visualization type selected, each one can be customized. Select the visualization type and click Edit in the top right corner of the Visualization tab. Specific editing options are dependent on the type of visualization selected.
Visualization Types
A variety of Visualizations are available. Read more about Visualization Types.
Charts
- Pie - Excellent for illustrating percentages of divided variables to equal a total of 100%..
- Donut Multiples - Similar to a Pie Chart, but with the added ability to include multiple charts highlighting the connections among data points.
- Funnel - Ideal for 4 or more stages of sequential data. When working with less than 4 stages, should use a Pie Chart.
- Timeline - View specific events and metrics over time.
- Waterfall - Ideal for illustrating sequential positive and negative values.
Graphs
- Column - Best used to represent a minimal amount of categories of data.
- Bar - Similar to the Column visualization, but displays data horizontally. This visualization type is ideal when working with 4 or more categories and/or longer category titles.
- Scatterplot - Ideal for displaying the correlation between two data variables.
- Line - Best for displaying data over a period of time.
- Area - Ideal for displaying changes in quantities over time.
Tables & Text Visualizations
- Report Table - Display data in a traditional table format and can be formatted in a variety of ways.
- Table (Legacy) - Display data in a traditional table format.
- Single Value - This chart highlights a single piece of data meant for maximum impact.
- Single Record - Similar to the Single Value chart, but contains slightly more data.
- Word Cloud - This visualization is a creative way to chart data by the frequency of occurrence.
Additional Visualizations
- Boxplot - Used to summarize statistical data generally with a minimum, maximum, and sample median.
Map Visualizations
Map visualizations are not supported at this time.
