Sales Tax By State

A commonly requested report in Analytics is Sales Tax By State. Complete the following steps to create this report. 

Steps:

1. Navigate to Menu > Analytics > Reports. 
2. Clone the Sales Tax Report from the Actions menu on the right side. 
   
3. Rename the Report Sales Tax By State and click Save. 
   
4. Type State in the Find a Field section on the left side. 
5. Because Tax is based on the Shipping Address, select Shipping Contact State to add the parameter to the report. 
   
6. Arrange the report columns as needed and Save the report when finished.

Tip! Be sure to mark the report as Public to share it with others in your organization. From the Main Analytics page, click Make Public from the Options menu for the corresponding Report.
