PayNow links are generally included in invoice payment email content or within the Invoice PDF itself. API calls can also retrieve payment links.
PayNow links will expire every 30 days for security considerations. A Regenerate button is available on the PayNow form only if the PayNow link is part of recognized valid email.

What do I need to do when a link expires?
Review the following Use Cases to determine what action is needed.
Note: Resend the Invoice email via the Invoices Module. Using the Email History section within a Customer's account will not regenerate a valid link.
Use Case 1: Email invoice sent with PDF attachment that includes the Payment link in the attachment.
Required Action: Regenerate the Invoice PDF and resent the email.
Use Case 2: Email invoice sent with PDF attachment with the Payment link only in the email body.
Required Action: Resend the email only.
Use Case 3: Email invoice sent with PDF attachment with the payment link in the PDF and also in the email message.
Required Action: Regenerate the Invoice PDF and resent the email.
Use Case 4: Neither the email invoice template or Invoice PDF contain the PayNow url because the customer utilizes Auto-Pay.
Required Action: Contact Support to retrieve the customer's PayNow url via API call.
Salesforce PayNow Link Handling
Any Salesforce mappings for PayNow or payment links, must reside in a field that accommodates longer than 250 characters.
Best Practice: Use the Text Area Data Type in Salesforce to accommodate the longer URL.
