Notification Center - Expired Subscriptions and Quotes

Ordway's Notification Center provides timely and actionable visibility into important events, milestones, and activities via ready-to-access alerts. All Ordway users within our client organizations automatically receive these notifications.

Get notified of expired Subscriptions and Quotes via Menu > Setup > Notifications.

Workflow Automation

We launched our newest feature Workflow Automation in August 2021. 

Workflows are used to automate business processes and provide users a graphical representation as you build it.

Sending emails, updating records, and sending data to external applications are important parts of your standard processes. Instead of doing this repetitive work manually, configure workflows to complete those tasks for you automatically. 

Workflow Enhancements

Our October release includes several enhancements to our Workflow Automation feature.

• Description is now a required field when creating a new flow.This will ensure that business use cases being supported by the workflow are recorded and displayed for ready reference.
  Note: When an existing Workflow is edited after this release, the Description is required before the flow can be saved.
• Access to our Help Center content has been added within the Workflow Builder via the question mark icon. 
• Additional enhancements included to improve the user experience: 
• Hover states added to all elements in the toolbox.
• Call to Action buttons on the toolbar will now be disabled when an element window is open.
• Element cards are now shown on the canvas when dropped onto the workspace. 
• Element positions on the canvas are now saved.

Import Data Loader

We launched a pilot version of our Import Data feature for Usage earlier this year. This import feature provides a step-by-step guide to importing data and includes features such as saving column mapping to streamline your process, viewing, and fixing errors before and after imports.

The October Release includes an enhancement to our Import Data feature.

Select the format of the dates in your file:

• You can now populate dates in your files and not have to worry about following the YYYY-MM-DD format. Select from 10+ date formats in the map columns step.

Salesforce - Ordway Connector Package Update

The next Managed Package release will be available Oct 20th. New features and enhancements include:

• Quotes Enhancements:
• Seamlessly create, sync, and convert Contract Renewal and Contract Change quotes from Salesforce.
• Update active Quotes and notify quote recipients of quote changes by email.
• Auto-fill recipient names and email fields based on selected Ordway billing contact on the Quote.
• Create a Usage record directly in Salesforce and sync to Ordway.
• Configuration/Setting Enhancements:
• Schedule Ordway to Salesforce sync jobs directly in the Ordway Settings interface without going to Apex Jobs in Setup.
• Ability to map Opportunity Types to Opportunity Record Types. 
• Display formula fields in the Plan Picker.
• Package components are compatible with approval processes and will lock during an approval flow.
