2021.12.08 Release - Schedule / Release Notes

The December Ordway Platform Release is now available in Sandbox. As a reminder, new releases first deploy to Sandbox instances.

This release will move to the Production environment on December 8th. 

The December Release includes the following feature enhancements:

Payment Gateways

Multiple Payment Gateway Accounts

• It is now possible to connect multiple accounts of the same payment gateway (Stripe or CardConnect). Navigate to Setup > Payments > Payment Gateway to connect additional accounts and manage gateway defaults and other settings.

• 
• When setting up a new gateway account, the account must be given a unique name to differentiate between the gateway accounts.
• 
• A new field gateway_account_name is also available in Ordway’s APIs and import tools.

Customer Portal

Payment Method Management

• Portal users can manage their saved payment methods by adding, deleting, and changing payment defaults under My account in the Customer Portal.

Note: This feature is currently only available to payments processed through Stripe. CardConnect will be supported in the future.

Workflow Automation

New Delay Element (beta)

• It is now possible to add a delay between steps in your workflow. Drag and drop the delay element onto your canvas and enter the time (in seconds) that you want the flow to pause before moving on to the next step.
• In a few specific situations, a delay may be called for within a workflow. Ordway can best assist in when to use this feature. 

Finance

NetSuite Integration

• Connect Ordway to your NetSuite account and sync Journal Entries generated in Ordway to your NetSuite general ledger. In addition to Journal Entries, you can keep records up to date between the two systems with field and record mapping for Customers, Products, Chart of Accounts, and Journal Entries.
