Overview

The Custom Dashboard Builder allows users to create personalized dashboards to monitor financial and operational metrics within the Ordway Analytics module.

Previously, dashboard customization required assistance from internal teams to configure or modify views. With the Custom Dashboard Builder, you can independently create dashboards using a self-service, drag-and-drop interface.

You can:

• Add widgets and visualizations
• Configure charts and tables
• Apply global filters
• Rearrange dashboard layouts
• Share dashboards with other users

This enables teams to design dashboards tailored to their business needs while maintaining control over permissions and visibility.

Key Capabilities

The Custom Dashboard Builder provides the following capabilities:

• Create dashboards using pre-built visualizations
• Add charts, tables, KPI cards, and custom metrics
• Drag and drop widgets to reorder or resize them
• Apply global filters such as date ranges
• Manage multiple dashboards
• Configure permissions for viewing or editing dashboards
• Duplicate dashboards for reuse
• Export table widget data as CSV

Access Dashboard Builder

To open the dashboard builder:

1. In the left navigation menu, click Analytics → Dashboards. The Dashboards page is displayed.
   
2. This page lists all dashboards available in the system and allows users to search, filter, create, or manage dashboards.

Dashboard Page Overview

The Dashboards page displays a list of all available dashboards in the system.

You can:

• Search dashboards
• Apply filters
• Add new dashboards
• View or manage existing dashboards

Search Bar

The search field allows users to quickly locate dashboards by name.

How it works

1. Enter the dashboard name or keyword in the search box.
2. The system filters the dashboard list to display matching results.

Filter 

The Filter button allows you to refine the dashboard list using specific criteria.

Applying filters helps you quickly find relevant dashboards.

Dashboard List 

The main section of the page displays a table containing all dashboards. Each row represents a dashboard.

Table Columns

You can click the dashboard name to open the dashboard.

Sorting

You can sort dashboards using the Last Modified column.

Click the column header to:

• View recently updated dashboards
• View older dashboards

This helps locate dashboards that were recently changed.
