Dashboard tiles (widgets) display visualizations such as charts, tables, and KPI metrics. Each tile includes a tile options menu (⋮) that allows you to manage its layout and behavior.
To access tile options:
- Open the dashboard.
- Click Edit.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the tile.
- The tile options menu appears with layout and configuration options.
Available Tile Options

| Hide Title | Removes the tile title from view. |
| Add Note | Adds a descriptive note to the widget |
| Add Accessibility Description | Adds accessibility metadata for screen readers |
| Duplicate Tile | Creates a copy of the widget |
| Move Tile | Changes the widget position |
| Resize Tile | Adjusts the widget size |
| Delete | Removes the widget from the dashboard |
| View | Opens the widget's underlying report |
Hide Title
The Hide Title option removes the widget title from the dashboard display.
When to use
- To create a cleaner dashboard layout
- When the visualization already clearly identifies the data
The widget remains functional but displays without a header title. You can use the Show Title option to display the title again.
Add Note
The Add Note option allows you to include additional context or explanations for a widget on the dashboard.
You can enter descriptive text and choose where the note should appear relative to the visualization.
Steps
- Open the dashboard.
- Click Edit.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the tile.
- The tile options menu appears with layout and configuration options.
- Click Add note. The Add note dialog box is displayed.
- Enter the message you want to display for the widget in the Note Text box.

Display Location – Choose where the note appears:
- Above visualization – Displays the note above the chart or widget.
- Below visualization – Displays the note below the chart or widget.
- On icon hover – Displays the note when users hover over the note icon.
- Collapse note – When enabled, the note will appear collapsed and can be expanded by users if needed.
- Click Add to save the note or Cancel to discard the changes.
- You can also delete the notes, by clicking the Delete.
Add Accessibility Description
This option allows users to add accessibility descriptions to the widget.
Steps
- Open the dashboard.
- Click Edit.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the tile.
- The tile options menu appears with layout and configuration options.
- Click Add accessibility description. The dialog box is displayed.
- Enter the description and then click Add.
- These descriptions help assistive technologies (such as screen readers) understand the purpose of the widget. This improves dashboard usability for users with accessibility needs.
Duplicate Tile
The Duplicate Tile option creates a copy of the selected widget.
Behavior
- The duplicated tile retains the same configuration.
- The new widget can be modified independently.
This is useful when creating variations of a visualization.
Example
- One widget showing Monthly MRR
- Another showing Quarterly MRR
Move Tile
The Move Tile option allows you to reposition a tile within the dashboard layout.
Available movement options include:

| Move to bottom | Moves the tile to the bottom of the dashboard |
| Move to left side | Moves the tile to the left section of the layout |
| Move to right side | Moves the tile to the right section of the layout |
This option helps you organize widgets based on importance or logical grouping.

- Move important metrics to the top of the dashboard
- Group related widgets on the same side
Resize Tile
The Resize Tile option allows you to adjust the size of a dashboard tile.
Available size options include:

| Extra Large | Maximum dashboard tile size |
Resizing tiles helps control how much space a visualization occupies on the dashboard.

- Reduce size for simple KPI widgets
Delete Tile
The Delete option removes the widget from the dashboard.
Steps
- Click Delete.
- Confirm the action.
The widget will be permanently removed from the dashboard layout.
View
The View option allows users to change how a tile is displayed.
Available view modes include:

| Full Screen | Displays the tile in full-screen mode for detailed analysis |
Expanded Mode
Displays the widget in a larger view while still keeping it within the dashboard layout.
Full Screen Mode
Displays the widget in full-screen view, allowing users to focus on the visualization without other dashboard elements.
This mode is useful when analyzing detailed data.
