You can manage dashboards from Analytics → Dashboards using the three-dot menu (⋮) available at the end of each dashboard row.
Access Dashboard Actions
- In the left navigation menu, click Analytics → Dashboards. The Dashboards page is displayed.
- Locate the dashboard in the list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the right side of the dashboard row.
- Select the required action.
Available actions include:
| Action | Description |
| View | Opens the selected dashboard |
| Edit | Opens the dashboard builder to modify widgets or layout |
| Clone | Creates a duplicate of the dashboard |
| Rename | Allows you to change the dashboard name |
| Make Public | Changes dashboard visibility to Public |
| Share | Allows you to share the dashboard with other users |
| Delete | Permanently removes the dashboard |
Note: If a dashboard is public and created by another user, only View and Clone options are available.
View Dashboard
You can open and view the dashboard and its charts.
Steps
- In the left navigation menu, click Analytics → Dashboards. The Dashboards page is displayed.
- Locate the dashboard you want to clone in the Dashboards list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of the dashboard row.
- Select View.
Result
The dashboard opens and displays all its charts and metrics.
Edit Dashboard
Allows you to modify dashboard layout, filters, and settings.
Steps
- In the left navigation menu, click Analytics → Dashboards. The Dashboards page is displayed.
- Locate the dashboard you want to clone in the Dashboards list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of the dashboard row.
- Select Edit.
Result
The dashboard opens in edit mode, where users can:
- Add or modify charts
- Adjust layout
- Apply filters
- Update settings
Click Save to apply the changes.
Clone Dashboard
You can clone an existing dashboard to quickly create a new dashboard with the same charts and configuration. The Clone option creates a duplicate copy of the dashboard
The cloned dashboard includes:
- All widgets
- Layout configuration
- Visualization settings
Steps
- In the left navigation menu, click Analytics → Dashboards. The Dashboards page is displayed.
- Locate the dashboard you want to clone in the Dashboards list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of the dashboard row.
- Select Clone from the available options. The Copy Dashboard dialog box is displayed.
- Enter a new name for the cloned dashboard in the Name box.
- Click SAVE.
Result
- A new dashboard is created with the same charts and layout as the original dashboard.
- The cloned dashboard appears in the Dashboards list and can be edited independently.
Example
- Original dashboard: Yearly report
- Cloned dashboard name: Revenue Performance Dashboard
Tip: Cloning a dashboard is useful when you want to create variations of an existing dashboard without rebuilding charts from scratch.
Rename Dashboard
You can change the name or description of a dashboard.
Steps
- In the left navigation menu, click Analytics → Dashboards. The Dashboards page is displayed.
- Locate the dashboard you want to clone in the Dashboards list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of the dashboard row.
- Select Rename. The Rename Dashboard dialog box is displayed.
- Enter the new Dashboard Name in the box.
- Update the description if required.
- Click Save.
Result
The dashboard name is updated in the dashboard list.
Make Dashboard Public
Makes the dashboard accessible to all users in the organization.
Steps
- In the left navigation menu, click Analytics → Dashboards. The Dashboards page is displayed.
- Locate the dashboard you want to clone in the Dashboards list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of the dashboard row.
- Select Make Public. A confirmation dialog appears.
- Click Confirm.
Result
The dashboard becomes publicly visible and editable to users in the organization.
Share Dashboard
You can share the dashboard with specific users.
Steps
- In the left navigation menu, click Analytics → Dashboards. The Dashboards page is displayed.
- Locate the dashboard you want to clone in the Dashboards list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of the dashboard row.
- Select Share.
- Select the users you want to share the dashboard with from the Users list.
- Click SAVE.
Result
Selected users will gain access to the dashboard.
Visibility
The Visibility column indicates who can access the dashboard.
Possible values include:
| Visibility | Meaning |
| Public | Dashboard is accessible to other users with permissions |
| Private | Dashboard is visible only to the creator |
Delete Dashboard
Permanently removes a dashboard.
Steps
- In the left navigation menu, click Analytics → Dashboards. The Dashboards page is displayed.
- Locate the dashboard you want to clone in the Dashboards list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of the dashboard row.
- Select Delete. A confirmation dialog appears.
- Click Delete to confirm.
Result
The dashboard is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
