Ordway Payments and Refund Statuses
Payment Statuses

Pending
When the payment is yet to be authorized at the gateway.
This status may occur when the gateway does not respond within 20 seconds. -
Processed
When the payment is authorized at the gateway.
Both Credit Card and ACH Debit (US Bank Account) payments typically move to this status immediately. -
Failed
When the payment fails at the gateway. -
Failed – Timeout
When the payment fails due to a timeout.
Refund Statuses

Refund – Pending
When the refund is yet to be authorized. -
Refund – Processed
When the refund is settled at the gateway.
Card payment refunds typically take 36–48 hours to settle.
Notes
- ACH Debit (US Bank Account) payments can take up to a week to settle.
