PDF Displays as “pdf.pdf” Instead of Invoice Numbers

Issue

When viewing or downloading an invoice PDF, the file name may display as pdf.pdf instead of the expected format:

INV-[Invoice Number].pdf

Example: INV-14335.pdf

Cause

This behavior can be caused by certain Google Chrome extensions, specifically:

• Google Docs Offline
• Application Launcher for Drive (by Google)

These extensions may interfere with how the browser handles the PDF filename.

Resolution

1. Open Chrome → Extensions → Manage Extensions.
2. Disable Google Docs Offline and Application Launcher for Drive (by Google).
3. Refresh Ordway and open/download the invoice PDF again.
4. Confirm that the PDF now displays the correct filename, such as INV-14335.pdf.

Note: This is a browser/extension-related issue rather than an issue with the invoice itself.
