Suspend a Subscription

At times it may be needed to temporarily suspend a Subscription. There are several ways to accomplish this in Ordway. Choose the method that works best for your organization:  

• Record a 100% discount on a Charge with the Change Effective Date set as the start of the suspension period.
• To resume services, edit the Subscription Charge again by removing the 100% discount with the Change Effective Date set as the date the services are to be restored. 
• Change the List Price of a Charge to $0 with the Change Effective Date set as the start of the suspension period. 
• To resume services, edit the Subscription Charge again back to the List Price with the Change Effective Date set as the date the services are to be restored. 
• Cancel the Subscription and reactivate it when ready. 
• Note: Consider how this will reflect in Reporting (Churn & Reactivations).
